Stabilization Splints

This device is fabricated to help stabilize and retain existing teeth that are mobile (from bone loss and recession).

Created by Dr. Cherberg, a stabilization splints is bonded to the back portion of teeth to fix the position and prevent the teeth from moving further.

This patient was initially told to have all teeth extracted and then proceed with fabrication of upper and lower dentures by another office.. After seeing our office for a second opinion, Dr. Cherberg manufactured a stabilizing device that has reduced mobility in the teeth and allowed this patient to enjoy chewing with her natural teeth for over 31 years.
