Bridge Work

A bridge replaces single or multiple missing teeth to restore a dentition to proper form, function, and appearance. There are several methods and different materials available to construct bridgework. Determination of the type of bridge depends on location of the missing tooth, health status of the supporting teeth, and esthetic requirements of the patient.

Bridgework can be an alternative (in specific cases) to fill in spaces where other treatment (e.g. implants) might not be desired. Porcelain crowns that are attached together are fabricated to mimic the appearance and functionality of a tooth, while being supported by adjacent teeth.
